Dressing well for interview is just an extra today. Review on Dressing Up For an Interview

It was actually those days when the Dressing for an interview for the important thing considered. But today, interviewer does actually take Dressing as a serious issue but wat they actually look wats outside and inside ur Dress!  Dont mistake me.  Wat I meant was, how energetic body is to do the task and how brainy u r.

I actually have my own experiences. I always dress real awesome for Interviews. Full formals only. *With Clean shave, hair cut, no Perfume(only light deo), Light colored cotton full hand Shirt(mostly van heusen like shirts) and poly cotton Pants, Clean polished shoes and shoes colors same as the belt.*.  But I do well at interviews real well but dont get selected ever.

But I used to see other guys who come for interviews with normal dressing and even no belt or old unpolished shoes with long hairs getting selected for the jobs!

But for girls its almost opposite.  Simple dressing wont fetch a job.

I even recently saw two girls at a interview and watched their dressing closely while group discussion. On was wearing a short Kurti with tight silk Leggings and lots of bangles in one hand and large earrings too.  She also wore a high heels.

The other was wearing a normal cotton kurti and patiala with a single bangle and a normal flat sandals.

Even the second girl was very good in performance and the first one was a dumb.  Did not talk too much.  but first girl was the one which go selected.  She was given at the most care by the HR!

Well only some of the executive jobs like Managers or Air hostess required a good Dressing and is mandatory, like - Clean full hands cotton shirt, Formal poly cotton trousers, a clean coat/brazer, a matching tie, clean shave or decent french beard, nice short or medium hair cut, Clean good conditioned polished shoes and matching belts.

Dressing should be avoided - Silky shiny Dressing, Transparent dressing, heavy perfumes, heavy nail polish or lipstick, Fancy belts or Shoes, sport shoes, long and buffy hair and so on.  Also dont wear too much of ornaments like gold or silver.

For men, just 1 or 2 simple rings and a watch. And Ladies, just simple single jewelry.

*Overall, ** as far as today's interviews are concerned, most of the interview dont require best Dressing.  just simple Formals will do.  All u need is brain and confidence.

and only Executive jobs need good dressing!
