Cannes Film Festival 2002 witnessed the launch of the costliest Bollywood film ever - 'Devdas'. Of the much discussed aspects of the film, is the most conspicuous round dot - bindis - adorning the foreheads of the film's female protagonists - Paro played by former Miss World Aiswarya Rai, and Chandramukhi portrayed by ace actress Madhuri Dixit.

In the movie, it is difficult for the viewers to deceide who has done a better part Madhuri Nene or Ash Rai as even mentioned in the movie by Shahrukh, terming both of them as his both eyes & unable to deceide for himself which is better & ranks both equally important for him.

The movie made for the 3rd time, is a movie all Indians should watch & is a great piece of art.

1st time by KL Saigal, then by Dilip Kumar & Now with Shahrukh is a great work worth seeing & appreciating!!

With a great success at the Cannes Film Festival, I am sure it will do wonders in the minds & hearts of Indians.
