This season Chelsea is destined for some silver-ware. If not the English Premiership, then definitely the UEFA Champions League. The Chelsea football team is packed with European and Latin American stars. Their brand of football is one of the best in the business.
The team is coached by Claudio Ranierrie. He's an experienced man when it comes to winning silverware. This season he's been backed up by a team so strong that more silverware is on the cards.
Chelsea have a very dominating strike force comprising Hernan Crespo (Argentina), Jimmy Floyd Hasselbank (Netherland), Eider Gudjonsen (Iceland) and Adrian Mutu (Romania).
Their mid field is probably the strongest in England with the likes of Claude Makelele (France), Frank Lampard (England), Juan Sebastian Veron (Argentina), Joe Cole (England), Damian Duff (England), Geremi (Cameroon) and Jerper Gronkjaer (Denmark).
Their defense is like a wall with William Gallas (France), Marion Melchiot (Netherland), John Terry (England), Wayne Bridge (England), Marcel Dessaily (France, captain), Babayaro (Nigeria) and Glen Johnson (England). They are able backed up by the goalkeeper Carlo Cuddicini (Italy, and probably the best in Europe).
The best thing going for Chelsea is their bench strength.
