Hey Guys,
I happened to be a customer of barclays bank for two months.
The gud thing with them is there hello money i.e free of cost for salary account holders.
U just need to dial *598*1# and barclays would come on your screen.it is just like any dialling*141# on ur vodafone to check ur balance and a lot other thins like mobile rehcrage cheque book and fund transfer to any visa credit or debit card issued in india.
these are gud things
I had changed my mobile number and my place of residence just after a month.
I sent them a letter around 5th january 2009 to change my mobile number and contact address.
they rejected the application stating incomplete info.
I contacted cust service and then sent a new letter on 9th of january 2009 with a request to change my number and address alongwith my ipru premium as a proof of new address.
I contacted cust service and till now its not updated.
so many complaints so many calls to cust service nothing is done yet.
I m totally pissed off by their services.
its been around 15 days now and nothing is done yet
u call cust service ten times and u will get ten different reasons as to why its not been updated yet
moreover the first application was rejected because bank was luking for some kind of proof of mobile number
I asked cust service .they said that bank needs a bill.
my new number is a prepaid number and how would I give a bill of a prepaid umber
and abt the address proof.today one agent told me very rudely that u need to send orginal copy to bank.
why the hell shud I give orginal copy.they wont return it back.
