How to increase Mileage of your Bike

I have rated in unique way so that u can read this review and get the actual cause of low mileage. The thing is that pulsar gives a low to normal mileage. After 10, 000 kms the mileage of most of the bike is automatically reduced. You can do following thing to check-

  1. Keep the slow race below 1000.

  2. There is a valve (screw) fitted at carburettor, which u can see from outside. U need to loose that screw 4 rounds for pulsar and 2 rounds for Yamaha bike. This is the main factor. If you're not getting the screw then go to local garage, they have good knowledge on this, bt dealer will not recommend you about this.

  3. Keep speed 45-58 km.hr.

  4. use only premium oil and do not mix other grade oil.

  5. Try to use only Bajaj DTS-i engine oil

  6. Always lubricate your bike chain, never let it dry.

  7. Clean chain and all parts every after 5000 km.

  8. Keep air in tyre little more than recommended.

  9. Use clutch in slope and switch off the engine.

Keep step 2 in mind.
