Hi guys
I m back with another review after review on UNI which created much controversies.
well this time I wont write much as I dunno much about AVENGER as this bike isnt doin well here as per sales.
i took the test ride of bike and here are my experiences.
but before that if u read overdrive than do me a favor and read my review on overdrive plz
looks identical to ELIM which are gr8 to say the least
COMFORT!!!!!!!!!! welcome to the optra of bikes is not MERC. I think it is the most comfortable bike available in INDIA
ONE HUGE PROBLEM...... the gear levers were so awkwardly placed that the its real pain to operate them. the lever is placed so high that u have to lift ur leg to change gear and than put it back on the foot peg. this aint a big problem on highway but a very very big one in heavy stop and go traffic. mine test ride included both conditions and I virtually sweated in heavy heavy traffic.
PERFORMANCE........ lets start the controversial part. the speedometer wasnt working so it is tough to state on performance. but it certainly felt very slower than P180. I have doubt whether this bike has better pickup than 150. well it seemed to be slower!!!!!!! but that may be due to stoped speedometer and high stablility levels that may cause the bike to feel slower even at high speeds. for the ELIM......one thing is sure that CBZ and UNI will wave good bye to it and can bet on it. for AVENGER ... its still under confusion.
MILEAGE .... I dunno. the guy who attended me says to be b/w 35-45 kmpl.
same was reported for ELIM!!!!! hey any one on mouthshut have an AVENGER plz report mileage yaar
what else I think else everything is already under urs knowledge.
one more thing it cost 66700 rs here in INDORE on road and Rolta bajaj (showroom of bajaj) has sold only 2 bikes yet.
should we buy this?
i wont ...i aint the cruiser kind of guy.
