Who does not a lipstick with gorgeous color and super hydrated finish? Ultra Color Indulgence Lipstick by Avon is another addition to their make up palette. Indulgence has 10 shades which have a great pay off. 3 shades of red, 3 of pink, one coral, 2 in purple/mauve side and one in brown.
This lipstick is one of its first kind in Avon which has a hydrating gel base. All colors have smooth satin finish. As you apply the lip color, you feel your lips drenched in moisture! The technology claims an increase in lip moisture by 4X.
Priced at 479, this lipstick caught public attention in the month of its launch. In spite of so many benefits and beautiful sleek packaging, I found this lipstick average and just like any other lipstick of Avon. In fact Indulgence is no way different than Ultra Color Lipstick. The latter has more shades, more finishes and priced low too. The only uniqueness is the gel base. Ok, for summers moisturising lipsticks do not go well.
Well that is not enough for me to try a lipstick at high price. The color palette looks beautiful but nothing different. I don't find this value for money. Neither the colors stay long.
The colors are super rich, so these will be liked by ladies of 25+. The younger age group will miss the softer/lighter colors. You cant sport a chic look with this lipstick for sure!
May be should have better and unique colors and price it a little low. Since nobody would invest in a high priced lipstick for daily use, this is definitely not a daily use makeup. Okay to use in parties or special occasions.
