I've seen Anaconda atleast 3 times, just for the drama. Many people complain about the huge size of the snake. Don't go in for the realities when you watch a movie, go for the story, the drama and the way it is presented.
There is one thing common on all the reviews. Voight has done his part pretty well. His plots, actions, words and even thoughts are all well in sync with the movie. Just 'coz JLo is in the movie doesn't ask for a love scene and Ice cube wasn't a rapper in the movie. They all had different roles.
The compositing of the snake movements could have made a bit more slower at times, some movements were a bit awkward. Looking at the bright side, it was techinically well made.
The only flop in the prints I saw was the scene in which the snake was falling down from the free into the stream. The water seemed to flow UP in that scene for a fraction of seconds.
The sound effects and the visual effects were also moderate, there was nothing overdone.
Finally, this was a movie which could be watched with family/spouse/frinds.
