Following situation happened to me twice.
I call-up Airtel customer care for cancelling my postpaid number.
They say that I will not be levied any charges from that day. And from that day, they keep calling me asking me to convert it to PREPAID so that I can retain the SAME NUMBER.
These pathetic people do this with a purpose.
After lot many phone calls, I agreed when they said that their representative will come to collect photo and other papers.
No one turns up.
Suddenly, I get a bill of 1200 asking me to pay.
However many times I contact AIRTEL customer guys on mail, they ANSWER everything on the EARTH but they do not bother to answer the specific question I ask.
I am pissed off with this NETWORK. I started with my family and I would encourage everyone to be careful, not to fall in these guys trap.
