I watched Airlift yesterday with my friends at nearest multiplex. I was very much excited about this film because of Akshay Kumar.
I have watched his last year patriotic movies such as Baby and Holiday. The Airlift is another patriotic film from him and I must say this one is fabulous.
This movie is based on true incident though characters names are different. I felt more proud and patriotic because the day on which I watched this film was India's 67th republic day. You will definitely get some goose bumps while watching this film. The story is about Iraq and Kuwait war happened on 1990's.
It is about the one Indian who stand up and rescue the 1.5 lakh Indians who have been trapped in Kuwait while war. The direction is as usual outstanding. There is nothing like Akshay Kumar's typical action scenes rather there are scenes where he mentally faces the situations. Definitely movie able to keep you glued to the screen all the duration. I definitely recommend this film. Thank you!
