I am working as a travelling IT consultant in a top energy company in Mumbai. I get free fly-backs every month to Chennai.Usually I travel by Jetconnect. However I had to travel by Spicejet sometimes. The service is very poor. On one occasion the flight was late by 3.5 hrs-I had to reach home well past mid night. My fellow passengers some of whom were ladies- students, IT professionals, etc told me after the downfall of KFA, situation has become worse in the Chennai-Mumbai route.
*I hope that the people concerned read this**. Not that I want to condemn SpiceJet totally. It is the only airline from Pondicherry (where I belong)to Bangalore. Here too the service is very very poor. Timings are not convenient to a lot of IT professionals who work in Bangalore from here.
I hope ultimately SpiceJet improves its operations. It will be very helpful for professionals like me, who have to travel in their jobs. We are willing to pay more(company pays for us)
But one thing-good authentic Tamil food-Lemon rice, pickle, beans poriyal, was served. After munching dry chappatis and paneer curry the whole month, very refreshing and familiar sight and smell.
