A pretty good actor. Review on Salman Khan

He's known as the bollywood's bad boy salman khan, Probably the biggest name in bollywood today, he's got more women fans then any other actor in bollywood. I hate him sometimes, when he overacts in movies, his averacting movies include, Judwaa, maine pyar kiyon kiya, chal mere bhai, janam samjha karo, Hello brother his worst movies probably, har dil jo pyar karega and hum tumhare hai sanam. He's best known to take his shirt off in the whole moves to show off his muscles, but so what that doesn 't make him a bad actor. He excels in emotional scenes, especially in the movies like tere naam, Yeh hai jalwa, maine pyar kiya and he's good in quiet roles in movies like Karan arjun, Veergati, baaghi, etc.

He has been in the news for controversial reasons, He was charged hunting an endangered species. Then was arrested for drunk driving and killed three people who had been sleeping on the mumbai sidewalk. He was proven innocent, He's had rocky romance with actress ashwaryia rai, now ended. He's given threats to vivek oberoi to stay away from ashwaryia rai. He was accused of trying to force his ex girlfriend aishwarya rai to appear at several events sponsored by the Mumbai underworld threatening her and boasting of his connections to organized crime. The evidence was a tape of a mobile phone call later proved to be a fake.

He's the eldest son on writer salim khan was born on 27th december 1965, so he's 40 years old now. He made a small debut in a farooque sheikh movie called biwi ho to aisi, which happens to be his first movie, but no one noticed. The following year came Maine pyar kiya which changed his life forever. The sooraj barjatya film turned salman into a teen icon. Every producer wanted to sign salman in his film. Then in the 1990's He was signed for the movie baaghi, which was a hit at the box office, salman did a decent job. Phool aur patthar with raveena tandon also turned out to be a average at the box office. Saajan was a also a superhit, even though sanjubaba stole the show salman made his flirting boy image from movie saajan, this is where it was started. Then after this he had couple of flop movies like jagruti, suryavanshi, nishchay, dil teraa aashiq, chandramukhi, ek ladka ek ladki.

1994 again sooraj barjatya signed him for another on of his films called hum aapke hai kaun, which started the trend of the family movies, in my opinion dilwale dulhania le jayenge was made into a family entertainer, because hum aapke hai kaun did well, then why not dilwale dulhania le jayenge. Salman proves his comedy acting in the movie andazz apna apna, tries to match with aamir khan with every step, the movie was nonstop laughter, which I love to watch over and over again.

1995, He was taken in the movie Karan arjun, which was directed rakesh roshan, movie was superhit, he over shadowed shahrukh so easily with his action image in the movie and was nominated for best actor. Veergati which was an action movie, flopped at the box office, but salman proves with his acting in the movie that he could carry that kind of a role too. Then david dhawan started taking him into his movies judwaa was success mainly due to the songs I thought, there was nothing special about his performance in this movie though. He had gotten the best supporting actor award for kuch kuch hota hai, which was pretty dumb movie in my opinion, salman did nothing special. HUm dil de chuke sanam, kahin pyar na ho jaaye, chori chori chupke chupke are worth a aprecitaion for his acting skills.

So many people believe it was salman o o jaane jaana song and his dancing skills that helped his brother sohail's debut production jaab pyar kiya tu darna set the box office on fire. In this movie salman was also nominated for best actor, I was surprised with acting in the movies, in one scene he excelled when he is kicking the phone and is angry in the movie. Sanjay leela bhansali's khamoshi shut people's mouth who thought he couldn't act were all surpised to see his performance in this one also. sooraj barjatya again signed salman in his third film called hum saath saath hai, which was a hit but didn't make it big like his last two hum appke hai kaun and maine pyar kiya. Tumko na bhool payenge was a another movie in which he acted very good, al though the movie bombed.

Yeh hai jalwa was realesed in 2002, I liked salman's acting in the movie he and rishi kapoor were pretty good. It was story of father and son. The ending was the best part. After 2002, when he was jailed his movie tere naam came out after a whole year and had one of the best opening ever. Salman sets the movie on fire with powerful performance, in my opnion one of his best performances, he changed his hairstyle lot of people started copying his hairstyle. 2004 was a good year for salman in which he had hits on his hands like mujhse shaadi karoge, lucky, garv was an average movie and phir milenge was a flop. 2005 is a another better year for salman he's already had a hit maine pyar kiyun kiya , and entry which is one of the best movies of 2005. Kiyonki is realsing this november 3rd which will be a hit in my opinion, and his another movie called SAAWAN is coming in december.

Today he is a sought out hero working with almost all top banners on the personal front he had lovely ladies in his front. His love stories began with actress sangeeta bijlani and ended with ashwaryia rai. He is now after katrina kaif. In a recently american magazine salman was voted the 7th best looking man in the world.

Overall he is good actor, producers and directors could count on him to get a hit or a two.

HIs best friend is - sanjay dutt, sanjay dutt is producing a movie with him and salman khan which will release in 2006 sometime, last they were scene in chal mere bhai and dus which never came out. Salman has the best designers for him to wear all sorts of new clothes.
