Outstanding. This one word sums up the album of Dhadkan.

The first song ''Dil Ne Yeh Kaha Hai Dil Se'' by Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik and Kumar Sanu sets the tone. Wonderful lyrics and outstanding (this word is likely to be repeated throughout) music. Even the sound of the wind in the middle is amazing.

''Tum Dil Ki Dhadkan'' by Abhijeet is another outstanding (I told u it will repeat) song and with fantastic https://lyrics. Just hear his vocals when he renders the alaap in the middle. Amazing rendition.

''Dulhe ka sehra'' by the late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan brings about the agony of a daughter leaving her parents home for her husband's, wonderfully. The late maestro was in his elements in this song and it shows!!!

''Dil Ne Yeh Kaha Hai Dil Se'', this time by Sonu Nigam and Alka Yagnik is a slightly faster version which easily matches upto the previous one by K Sanu, U Narayan and Alka Yagnik. However the lyrics differ in the stanzas except the initial phase.

''Tum Dil Ki Dhadkan'' by Kumar Sanu brings out the pain in a lover separated from his love, superbly. Wonderfully rendered by Sanu. Great lyrics by Sameer.

''Na Na Karte'' by Alka Yagnik and Udit Narayan is average for its lyrics but its the music and the vocals of the singers that lifts this song to a very high altitude. It says about a woman who is initially reluctant to love her husband but her husband's unconditional love for her changes her mind....

My personal favourite is ''Aksar is duniya mein'' by the talented Alka Yagnik. Heavenly music and the vocals of Alka make this song one of the best (if not the best) in recent times. Its sad that Alka, despite her awesome talent, has not been given due recognition.

The seventh and last song of this outstanding album is the instrumental of the song ''Tum Dil Ki''. The music is to be heard to be believed.

No two ways about it. Dhadkan is an outstanding romantic album and is easily one of the best in recent times. A must must buy.

Dhadkan is also an outstanding movie with great camerawork and outstanding acting by Akshay Kumar, Shilpa and Sunil Shetty.
