My wife was taken to Apollo BG Road with back pain which was bothering us for a year. We visited neurosurgeon Dr Arun Naik in his chamber. After examining her in detail, he ordered an MRI as earlier scan was done 6 months ago at Fortis. She had L4-5 disc prolapse causing her left nerve root twisting.
She had excruciating pain. He explained to me the present condition, options of treatment and risks and benefits of surgery. Dr Naik has good reviews on Google.
He operated on another colleague of mine last year. My colleague has a great opinion about his team of doctors. With due apprehensions, we opted for a minimal invasive surgery to remove the offending disc. My apprehension soon vanished after experiencing the hospitality of Apollo.
My wife started walking on the very next day and she was released after 3 days. Pain totally vanished and we are all happy. It is 6 months now and she has no complaints whatsoever. She is pregnant now and we are under his follow up.
Apollo is a busy hospital. Doctors are stressed out there like any other corp hospital. But my opinion about Apollo is good in the past also.
Particularly Dr Naik and his team is very good, approachable and reassuring. There are so many doctors in the team and they are all caring. People, go ahead and visit the doctor and his team for spinal ailments.
