You could appreciate the touch of reality in the movie. Strange enough you could not appreciate the reality of the ending!I cant blame you ,because we are so used to a 'they lived happily ever after' ending or a tragic ending. Is there anything unreal about the ending ? A well written review!

i have thoroughly enjoyed this album. He is one of my favourites. He is one of the rare musicians trained in both carnatic and hindustani streams..Listen to his jugalbandhi with balamuralikrisna. Keep writing om musical themes. regards ashok

hi bushra! You have written something after a long interval. and that too about something not worth writing about. 'awakinimgs' is one of my favourite movies dealing with alzheimers. There is also a recent malayalam movie in which the talented actor mohanlal has handled the subject rather a...dmirably. regards ashRead More

I dont want to be judgemental on savarkar. It was a great occasion for me to visit his cell in the cellular jail ,pay tributes to him and offer 'a garland of freshly cut tears'. And you are so right...the best way to understand him is to read his books... keep writing ash

Thanks shanti for yr comments. This is only a small part of his contribution to music. His interpretation of Thyagarajakritis is another important aspect i missed in the review. Yes he was never averse to singing for films. He has sung in malayalam, tamil, telugu and kannada thanks again

There are more quacks practising allopathy, when compared to acupuncture! How consistent is allopathy? When i took new born my child with a problem in his intestines to two surgeons they had totally different diagnoses and finally the HOD in AIIMS found both WRONG.Now what do i call the doc who co...nducted a wrong surgery on the basis of a wrong diagnosis on my newborn baby? Should we ban allopathy because of all this? One should not make judgements about subjects which one has not studied deeply. i will take you seriously if you write this after undergoing a course of study in acupunture from China. Till then i would go by my own'personal experience' . I suggest you study the alternate healing systems and practise them for a while before spiiting venom on them! Are you aware that your own allopathic brethren have appointed reiky practitioners in the surgery depts of renowned hospitals like Appollo in Delhi? Some of these fools beleive reiky fastens the recovery! If you are one of those who think that what the angrez taught you is scientific and the oriental wisdom is junk,....i have no arguments! (and nobody here is impressed by what the secretary in US govt think of my age old tradtions and systems. His ancestors were eating raw meat in the jungles when ayurveda was born!) Read More
