The lawyer took a deep breath and try to explain in the simplest way she can understand, because he knows that she is still young. "Look Melissa, the child will inherit an attractive business, a huge house, and a big cash in the bank! I cant just let anyone take care of him without the assurance that he is being love and cared for as a child and not for money! But despite all these dreams that came true, a new dilemma came. Michael started to ask what a father is or what is a family? Yes, she can easily explain what a father is, or what is a family, but...how can she tell her son the whole truth? He is still young to understand everything. How will he understand the situation why his dad had a wife but Melissa is his mom? Its too complicated to tell him that she is a surrogate mom and she is not sure if some drop of blood that runs through his veins came from her. How could she tell him that she is not the normal mother with a husband just like what other kids have. How will Michael understand the truth that she was being paid for, to have him for a son? Although in reality she didnt accept the payment anymore. Melissa between sobs and disillusion, she made a stand. She needs to tell Michael the truth about his father and why he is not with them. His father died in a car accident. Then one day when he is matured enough to understand the complicated life, he will find the answer to his query.
Melissa get a glass of cold water to quench her thirst. Five years that adds in her life makes a lot of difference. She has matured in all aspects- physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually as well. Whatever storms that may came in her life, she is ready to put a rainbow for her son! She is much stronger and tougher now. Her parents understand her when she told them of what happened to her. And just one more important person that she will tell the truth when he is ready to comprehend everything-her SON!
Tomorrow will be another day to live thetrue meaning of life. Money is not all there is to make one happy. When the sun will rise tomorrow, there's a new smile from Michael to meet her outside her door and that smile can make her walk a mile to another journey called life and dreams! What matter now is not just the riches and ambitions she had, its about having a wonderful son, even he will not grow up in the shadow of his father, but he will surely be a good human being!
