Hi Everyone,
It's christmas time once more and it is this time that most people in the world if not all are busy preparing something for christmas eve.Others are busy preparing for christmas party,others were organizing a carolling group to share christmas message through songs,while for others it is this time to share precious moment with families,relatives,friends and some close acquaintances. While to some, christmas is the time when others just want to forget who their foes are or just the time when others have soft heart to forgive for those who err.But do we really need to wait for this season to share precious moments with families and friends? Or forgive those who sins agains us? Or share the gifts because of the blessings we receive for the entire year? Is christmas season just the time to cheer everyone just because there's lot of gifts to receive or lots of gifts to give? Will you be happy this christmas when a love one is not near to you? Or will you be sad because there's no snowman in your place and no snowball to play? Yes, for many, we may have different meaning of christmas or is it the time of the year where many just get busy of themselves buying gifts,decorating christmas decor in their houses,offices or any place just to feel the spirit of christmas.
But what really christmas means to me or what it really means to you? Is christmas the time to remember the birth of a baby boy in a manger where the shephered keep watching the whole night and were visited by the three kings which was led by a big star in the town of Bethlehem and offered some gifts ? How important christmas in ones life? Is it to forgive and forget the one who caused us pain? Is this what it means to celebrate christmas and is it only good on December?
Well, christmas to me is not just forgiving and forgeting, giving and receiving gifts, or sharing precious moment with famlies, relatives and friends but most of all its the time for a spiritual healing when you almost forget that Christ is the center and reason for celebrating this season. But it doesnt mean that we just need to wait for December to celebrate christmas. Everyday can be christmas, when you share sweetness and goodness to your fellowmen, it doesn't need any occassion to share your gifts and love. It doesn't need sorrows and pain to extend your helping hand or shoulder to lean on. Everyday is Christmas when you give shelter to the lost child and give assurance that everything will be fine and alright. It is christmas when you do favor to the street beggars and not just giving alms, but lifting their spirit up that there's hope for everyone as long as one strive hard and alive.There's christmas when we visit a sick relatives or friends and offer them prayers.There's christmas when we the remember our soldiers who offered their lives for peace and harmony so others may live and continue the goodwill by sharing sympathy to the remaining family.Yes, there are still so many to think and enjoy life everyday as we celebrate christmas not just this holiday season but in everyday that we wake up and the sun still rises in the east and give us rest when the sun sets in the west. As I have mentioned above,God is the reason as weceleberate this season.Let it not be the season for just once a year but everyday that we live our lives and let's just give cheer,peace and harmony throughout the year.
