The Tournament, is a story about a game, with just one rule, "kill or die". This tournament has 30 players, and they've a deadline of 24 hrs, and there are millions at stake. All the players are greatest assassins picked up from different part of world. If you were the last one to survive, you'll get millions as prize amount. The players include, Joshua Harlow, the ex-champion and who wants revenge of his wife's death (Ving Rhames), Lai Lai Zhen, the most powerful of assasins (Kelly Hu), Father Joseph Macavoy, the innocent drunker, by mistake came into the game (Robert Carlyle), Miles Slade, the crazy Texan finger psycho killer (Ian Somerhalder), and Anton Bogart, the frenchman and a good athlete too (Sebastien Foucan), and the boss, who is organizing this game of killing, Powers (Liam Cunningham). The movie has a lot of nicely shot action scenes, with trucks exploding, and cars tumbling, also has nice fight sequences, between the players, but yes, has a lot of blood spilling here and there, exploding bodies, cutting fingers, so if you can handle violence, its a nice movie to watch. Avoid kids, for sure.
I rate: 3/5 Best to watch with: Friends Directed by: Scott Mann
