SpaceX’s Falcon9 rocket carrying supplies to the International Space Station exploded Sunday morning shortly after liftoff.
No reported injuries since there was no one onboard.
NASA is not sure what caused the explosion and is still trying to investigate the problem.
This is the second failed ISS shipment. A Russian cargo ship spun out of control and came down in April and last October another company's supply ship was destroyed in a launch accident.
SpaceX and NASA are expected to have a press conference Sunday afternoon to discuss the mission failure.
