There were days when I 2 used 2 rejoice da life & growth of my frnds & families, on my B'Day as each of U would celebrate with Joy,by Cutting a Decorated B'Day Cake,Blow out Magic Candles,Grab B'Day gifts,Lavish Party,Great Hyderabadi Food,Foot tapping Music,Happy B'Day Songs,Familiar Faces of fmly Members,Friends,Some know & some Unknown,Special B'Day wishes.In fact there are many who ask if 13 had been luck 2 me.I keep saying, “Yep & I do wish there was a 13th month & I would have born in that month”.
Then came da 13th December of 2001.That year 2, my fmly & all my frnds wanted my B'Day 2 be a hppy occasion.My mom planned a party 4 me that fateful Thursday,so that I had something spl.On da day of my B'Day,I opened my B'Day cards as soon as I woke up 2 remind me that 2day was my day 2.I then attended prayers 2 remember those less fortunate.As usual at office I was being pampered by colleagues & we had a coffee break 4 revelry around 11 AM.
When amidst party,my mom called on my cell.My first thoughts were abt da party at home,but she broke da sad news of Parliament Attack.15 people are killed in da attack.One of da assailants,blew himself up,da others were killed by police.Since da day my B'Day party has become a prvt affair,me alone & sometimes I let my close fmly wish me.Celebrations have stopped ever since.
Oh,Don't Say Patriotism.I knew what had hpend that year & living it over again was not going 2 make my day any better.By da end of da day,a large grp of my frnds & fmly mbrs came 2 celebrated da day,couldn’t come 2 terms 2 celebrate & just prayed & left! I looked at da +ves in da world & not da -ves.13th December became a day of tragedy;I have grown 2 accept that my spl day will never be da same again.
I will never understand why December 13 was chosen,nor why evil happens 2 innocents.When I blow out da candles on my B'Day cake my special wish is 4 love & peace throughout da world.I do light an extra candle on da B'Day cake in memory of those who lost their lives.Since that Day people don't need 2 remind me of my B'Day & in 2003 of this day,Saddam Was Capture from a rat Hole by USA Forces.
Obviously,I don't expect people 2 Just wish me a hppy B'Day! B'Day is da date when U came 2 this world.Every year,people around da world celebrate their B'Day. Well, every1 has 1...duh.What I'm trying 2 say is that on this day,u brought joy 2 ur parents.They wanted 2 make this day a memorable day of their life.As we grow up,1 should try 2 spread da same happiness evry minute,every 2nd 2 make memorable moments of life we cherish.
This day U are sure that u finished 1 yr from ur lifespan & U are closer 2 death & more sins are committed 2. So,why 2 be so merry about da B'Day & celebrate it? But 1 has 2 be optimistic about da life; All about giving joy 2 & taking pains away 4m, 1 another.
