Once upon a time, there was one company named as “Motyio Pvt. Ltd.” In that company, there was a rule to track the records of the daily efforts of all employees. That tracking sheet was known as Timesheets. The Company created a software tool known as “Emitno”; where everyday all the employees need to do the timesheet entries and their respective boss needs to confirm those timesheet entries.
Everything was going well. But, delay in invoicing and unbilled issue became a nightmare for the Company. Mr. Platoni, the CEO of “Motyio Pvt. Ltd.”, went to the “Arindoni Consultancy” to get a solution to this problem.
Arindoni: - Well, Mr.Platoni, tell me one thing, why suddenly invoicing are getting delayed by 4-5 days every month. Why always, there are some unbilled cases, which are getting carry forwarded to the next month, and at the end, the cumulative unbilled issues are getting reflected in the balance sheet, which is totally unacceptable.
Platoni: - the main root cause lies with the associates, who are working in the client locations. There, they do not have access to our “Emitno” software tool. So, their entries get delayed and ultimately resulting in these problems. Tell me, how to get rid of this problem?
Arindoni: - Hmm…I know one man “Saiolio”, who have created a Timesheet Machine, which can solve this problem. I will send that person to your office tomorrow. He will demonstrate everything, regarding that.
Platoni: - Hi Saiolio, I am Platoni, the CEO of this Motyio Company. Please tell us, how this machine will help us.
Saiolio: - This“Timesheet Machine”will be installed outside the entry gate, no matter whether it is onsite or offshore locations. All associates have to swipe their ID cards in this machine; otherwise, they will be unable to login to their respective workstation, in spite of knowing their User ID or password. Under their ID, the roles and responsibilities will be automatically allocated by their respective boss. Once, an associate performs the logout function from their respective workstation after 4 PM, then only, the timesheet entries will get confirmed automatically. If an associate goes out of the office, before 4 PM, then he will have to get the timesheet confirmation personally from his respective boss.
