Third Test Match - India V/S West Indies

By: ajeet15 | Posted Jul 06, 2011 | Cricket | 268 Views | (Updated May 03, 2012 10:29 PM)

The third and final test match between India and West Indies beings today. India, already ahead with 1-0 in the series might be without the ace bowler Ishant Sharma, who has injured himself during the practice session. This could be a set back for India because the pitches in West Indies have so far supported the pacers well.

VVS Laxman reached another milestone in his career by scoring 8000 runs in the second test match. While Ishant Sharma has taken his tally of wickets above 100.

Harbhajan SIngh with 398 wickets is just 2 short of 400 mark, which will make him the 3rd Indian bowler & the 11th bowler in the world to do so.

M.S. Dhoni who had a tough time with bat so far needs around 50 runs to take his tally of runs to 3000.

This is going to be a good contest because the West Indian are bowling ferociously. Especially Ravi Rampaul and Edwards Fidel have looked very dangerous.

Looking forward to a very good contest. If India wins the test series, then they will become the first team to win both ODI & test series in West Indies.

Good luck team India.
