Ho gayee hai peer parvat si pighalni chaiyehe Is Himalya se koi Ganga niklni chaiyehe?
Yesterday I was watching a debate on National channel of Television on the Role and neutrality of media in society. The participants were quite popular people, including well-known journalists, columnists, and editors of print and electronic media. In past few days what we are hearing is quite shocking, and somehow these incidences have shaken the belief and trust of common men on the unbiased ness and truthfulness of media. We are reading Hindustan times for many years, and no doubt it is one of the most popular newspaper of northern India. The Newspaper suddenly stopped Vir Singhvi”s Sunday column Counter Point, Whatever might be the reason, It is not our duty to reach on any conclusion, but somehow don’t you think that Vir singhvi, Barkha dutt, NDTV, these are the people and channels whom we respect and trust most.
To cut a long story short, I want to say that this is the age of confusion, we all are confused, none of us actually know that what we are hearing is actually the truth? Media,
As an Institution, in some extent, has lost some of its relevance and creditability.
