The Wait is over!!!
The much awaited results of Flower Photo competition will be declared today!!!
And the announcements start right from now!!!
Considering the number of photos and prizes it may not be possible to announce all the prizes in one post. So, with this comes the first set of results…the most obvious ones – The Best and Second Photos as per popular votes.
The Best comment prizes (The first, second & third plus 5 others) will be declared by the judge himself in a separate post. The judge also will declare 2 prizes for the best photos from critics point of view. Special mention is required where the judge himself have sponsored the 2 jury prizes.
Any guesses who is the judge??? The clue – the judge is getting ready in his apartment and land in his own plane OMFISHER airlines!!! Another clue? Not done. It is none other than Sanjoy (the Flying Elephant). So expect the post soon!
The remaining of the prizes will be declared later today. So let us rock the day…
Now to the Winners of the best photos on popular votes 1st and 2nd.
The clear winner for the first place is Ateesh. (hakoonamatata)! The photo was a leader from the time polling begins and took a great lead by half way and kept the pace till end. Since the competition was for the best photo the highest average is considered for determining the winner. The photo won the maximum number of points and highest average too. So Congrats to Ateesh!!!
The Second prize is won by BhupeshShah! The second prize was a very very close call where photos by Dev, Seraj and Vyoma gave a tight competition till very end. Still we had to select the highest scorer as the winner. Bhupesh are the declared 2nd prize winner! Congrats Bhupesh!!
