There is a part or a corner in your brain, between the cells, nerves and hormones, where someone lives, someone whom you love. It is a complicated question, and before giving this question a suitable meaning I would like to admit that I love Swati. I met Swati first time five years back in the winters of 2007. I was reading Paulo cohelo”s book, Veronica decides to die and Swati asked “ Why do you read such kind of depressing books”

“I have no clue, maybe I read because I want to know that is life worth of living." Swati did not said anything, may be at that age of nineteen it was a complete nonsense to think for her that is life worth of living. Swati came to Delhi to appear for a medical examination though she failed. I said" Swati you should opt for some other career option, medical is not your cup of tea". Swati agreed with my advice and she left for Lucknow.

And now after five years Swati came again, nothing much has changed, her face has little bit changed, and she was thinner than before, a bit more organised. After dinner I asked my wife that swati looks little weak, is there any problem. My wife did not replied, she remained silent, probably there was some meaning of her silence that only woman can understand.

Meanwhile this time swati was preparing for banking entrance, she has taken complete u turn for her earlier career option of medical. On that particular day I was leaving for Jabalpur for some official assignment. When I was packed and about to leave, swati said," may I come with you. Strange why do you want to come with me".

"Actually you are going alone". Swati said," I can give you company and I have a friend in Jabalpur so I would meet with her also".

First I hesitated then finally agreed. There was no travelling problem with her, as her father is a senior officer with Indian Railway and she was carrying and All India travelling pass. In train we did not spoke much, she keep on busy with her banking books . When we reached Jabalpur It was late night. My lodging was already booked, so I asked Swati that I have booked only one room, if she feels, I could arrange another room for her.

She was looking tired by the long day journey and said, there is no need for that we can share the room. None of us was hungry, I opened my Laptop and keep engrossed with customers statements with which I had appointments next day. Swati retired to sleep, sooner she was fast asleep and I too slept after sometime.

I woke up around two at night after a disturbing dream, I looked toward the Swati, She was in sleeping on the other corner of bed by completely covering herself with a blanket. It was not so cold, but she has wrapped herself in blanket from top to bottom. Suddenly at that moment, in that state of amnesia, I got a chilled feeling that it is not Swati, it is her corpse and Swati has passed away. I have seen many dead bodies in my life, bodies coming out from the hospitals, completely tied and wrapped with the white sheets .
