Another glorious Sunday. A day full of laziness. A day that starts with unbelievably large yawns. In my family it has become a ritual to wish each other 'good morning' every single day. On a Sunday instead of reading the news, we prefer to watch it. Horoscopes to be more exact. Yup, we are ardent believers of astrology. Although not the 'Bejaan Daruwalla' type.....don't get me wrong! But we do believe in our respective sun signs.
But still just to pass time we switched to a news channel and there on the screen sat a pot-bellied person wearing a shiny blue kurta, a long gold necklace and he had a big red tikka on his forehead. Even though this was a cliched sight, I felt peace from within. That was thanks to his glowing face. I mean he looked so happy!! Now even a pessimist would think twice before criticizing him, I'll bet!
Even the breakfast is different on a Sunday. A complete platter having fruits, cereals and juice.
Right now I am reading a book by Dean Koontz....heard of him? Well the book's so far so good. I do love reading.But only fiction......no autobiographies for me please!
