Sunday afternoon’s have always been ludicrous. It could make one uneasy just thinking how much fun the day would be! It sure does that to me! 3 PM in the Afternoon! Running through those boring movies that have been repeated numerously, over and over again, on the same channels, with numerous Coke, Pepsi, Toothpaste, Life insurance ads in between, I retire to bed! Ah, there's nothing like a Sunday afternoon nap! Lesser phone calls (if you are lucky), lesser worries, lesser distractions, or so you think!

With dreams of even better dreams, I lie down on the bed, lovingly fluffing the pillow and happily cherishing the afternoon stillness! Alas, as soon as I realized myself slipping away, Tat-Tat-Tat-Tat went the drilling machine over at the adjacent apartment with intensions of making innocent people bleed! A tighter squeeze of the pillow, over my tortured head, seemed to have relieved the sound-effects a bit! Tok.... Tok.... Tok... Tok... tok.. Tok.. Tok. Toktoktoktok.. Went something, I personally guessed it to be those marbles or some kinds of metal balls that these board games have, dropped intentionally on the ground to annoy innocent little afternoon napper’s! Instant mood-killers!

Few seconds of peace, without the two and the nearby apartment's delivery tempo with its annoying little reverse gear indicator went berserk at the very starting of my dreamy nap! That dismantled tune, which not even closely resembles the DDLJ songs, went louder by the seconds! And within seconds, the whole neighborhood started screaming at the top of the tempo with Ting, tong, Rat-tat-tat, Tee-too.. And I unwillingly stand up on the bed!

I went Out of the balcony, angrily, searching for any signs of those buggers! Alas, it seems so quiet in here! Scared? Show me your face! In desi Lingo, "Mard hai to saamne aa!" Which dint seem to work and it still stayed sheepishly quiet! Angry and sleepy, my eyes located the bed somewhere and I lie down, angrily fluffing the pillow, and listening attentively, anticipating a crash-landing of weird screams anytime!!
