Two reported incidents or news prompted me to post this query.
How far our common people trust our politicians and political parties?
1. Widow and other family members of late Hemant Karkare (Anti-Terrorism Squad chief, who was probing the Malegaon blast case) declined Narendra Modi's monetary assistance of Rs. 1 Crore.
2. Father of Sandeep Unnikrishnan refuse to meet Kerala Chief Minister and even prevented the home minister of Kerala seeing him. Police had to intervene for the ministers to meet him. The depressed father evendeclined to accept the condolences.
These small incidents raise few small questions in common, how far we respect our soldiers who laid their life for the nation. Do common people completely give a clean chit to politicians and their policies and plans?
We may survive as a nation and fight outside forces, but politicians who carry the hope of democracy will not get pardon for not giving due respect to those who laid their life to the nation with pure heart in due time.
