Patience,my dear.......have some patience!

From last two hours I was preaching this line again and again,to myself of course! I was sitting on a painfully hard chair in RTO. My hubby had gone for his driving test some 2 hours ago and was not back till then. I was in horrible discomfort and confusion. I was not able to call him,in case it interrupts his work. I dared not to leave the chair, after a whole half an hour's wait I managed to sit on that. One hour back my hubby called me and informed that the inspector has gone for lunch. Wow....what a perfect timing! My throat was dry,but there was no visible drinking water around. So,what else I can do? I sat there, massaging my stiff ankles and cursing my luck silently. When I went to take my driving test,it took just 20 minutes....and for him......! I was searching for a handkerchief in my bag when I found my pen. I played with it for some time, then removed the cap. I was feeling so irritated and the time was going so slow,so I drew a small grumpy face on my left palm. Then I recapped the pen and kept it back.

My hubby was back after another one hour,by the time both of us were feeling very hungry. We decided to visit the food court of Forum mall. When we reached there,it was almost 4 in the evening! We finally managed to grab two large meals after another 15 minutes of wait. As the food entered my system,I started feeling better. The surrounding, the atmosphere there, the low music, the brightly lit cafeteria, the weekend crowd gathering there - I started enjoying it. I was liking it. When I took out my pen to sign the credit card slip,I drew one cute smiley, near the grumpy face drawn before. It was a sign of my happiness, for that moment.

After the late lunch,we decided to visit my hubby's new office, just to see the location of that. It's in Whitefield, not very far from our place. We hadn't visited that area before. We found the journey very enjoyable. New roads, new areas, offices, shopping malls........everything was new to us in that area. When I reached the last stop, there was my hubby's office. I liked it instantly. Not only the office, there was something very good and charming in that area. You can call it a positive vibration. One salesperson was standing where we got down to see the office,he asked for our contact numbers. While doing so, I drew another smiley near that previous one. One bad versus two good..........well,let me see which one I gain more.

When we reached home,I was too tired to cook. My hubby made some noodles and he fed me also! Oh,so nice of him! I was feeling so happy, after so many days he was feeding me something! I added another smiley to express my happiness, and dozed off very soon.

Today the shock came when I checked out those faces made on my palm. While washing, three smileys got wiped off, only the grumpy face scorned at me. Then a realization struck. Don't we do the same thing in our life? We forget the happy things very fast, but remember those sad memories which we should forget on the first hand! That makes us sad and depressed. Why don't we reverse it? We should forget the bad ones and cherish the good memories,in order to stay away from sadness. This world is not a very pleasant place to stay, but we can at least try to make it a comfortable one by avoiding bad things in our life............isn't it?
