I feel that in this era of tumultous tension triggerring environs, it should be of one's concern on his most precious asset , health.
God hath given all that is necessary to fight and keep fit our physical self, from the challenges posed by innumerous viruses, bacterii and other elements which spreads diseases.
Human body is just like an elastic strata. The more you stretch it the more it recoils, and the best way to keep healthy is follow simple exercises prescribed in the vedic texts, and being used effectievely over the centuries with proven results.
You come accross various procedures and prescriptions on the media, but your body may not respond to every such methods, as every human body in unique in some "mystic" way. I cant vouchsafe the fact with figures and statistics, but you may experience the feeling once in a while when you go on experimenting with the idea.
I found Kapalbhati pranayamato be very effective for most of the common ailments, caused due to lifestyle, habits, and acquisition in the stressful work habitats. It may look simple , but if you could go on practising it every day say 5 minutes, starting with a minute and 30 second rests in between, it will do wonders. The procedure is to sit it padmasan, or sukhasan and rapidly throw air through the nostrils outside, at a pace of once every second, .Your hands can rest on the knee with your tip of the index finger touching the middle of the thumb., and all the other three fingers pointed down to the earth. In the process you will feel your belly muscles tightening up and with the release of air, you feel really energetic and rejuvenated. If you are just sitting on a chair, with your back straight, you may also keep a acupressure pad beneath your feet for double benefit. I tried this and the results were tremendous.
