Kaar Technologies - It is a third rated company managed by a third rated management.
The bear minimum expectation of any employee from his/her employer is to pay the salary in the end of the current month or the beginning of the next month. Kaar pays the salary of its employees only on 7th of every subsequent month, that too often not on time.
The case of employees deployed in Saudi is worse than their counterparts in India. One may wonder that why they are paying the onsite salaries for employees in Saudi only between 16th and 20th of the subsequent month(means your salary for the month of January will be paid only after Feb 16th). That is a cunning idea of a corrupt mind.
Suppose if you resign after receiving your salary for february on March 16th and you serve 1 month of notice. Your effective relieving date will be 16th of April. The company will hold your complete salary for the month of march and till 16th of april. They will intimidate you by holding your salary and will make you beg for your final settlement(which will be paid after 60 days of the last working day, sometimes even later than that). At times you will forced to take help of an advocate to recover your salaries. If you don't go to that extreme, you will never get your final settlement.
The onsite salaries for the associates working in Saudi for the month of May 2010 was paid only on 22 of June 2010(i.e. 22 days after submitting the time sheets). The employees who were holding B.Tech, MBA degrees were literally begging to their friends’ colleagues even for buying food. The worst thing in this story that the management was unapologetic about this delay and behaving as if delaying the salary was their birth right.
