Hello Everybody,

I am posting my new story here. Hope you like it.

For those who have not read the first story, I am giving the character sketch once again.

Happy reading!

Shalu

My Sweet Middle-Class Family

Allow me to introduce you to my family -

My Dadi – Kamla Devi Sharma. Dadi is 80, short and thin with shoulder length white hair. Very old people are usually frail and weak. My Dadi is frail and strong. Looking at her, nobody can guess that she can slap the hardest in the family. Nor can anybody guess her astounding energy levels. Though uneducated, she is cleverest person in our family.

My Papa – Yudhveer Sharma. Papa is 50. He is one of the most good-natured people in the world, also one of the most absent-minded. A real nice guy, my Papa, what he lacks in the brains department (which is considerable) he makes up with his sweet nature. Luckily, he managed to get into a government job at a young age, one that required him to do routine work i.e. not use his mind. His career has been going along smoothly for the last 28 years.

My Mummy – Lata Sharma. Mummy is 47, a homemaker. She is a little plump, very pretty and very competent. She runs the house and our lives with a gentle but strict hand. Mummy and Papa got married 25 years ago. It was an arranged marriage. I always wonder how an intelligent woman like Mummy can be happy with a dimwit like Papa. But that’s how it is. To give Papa his due, he is a really lovable dimwit.

I come next – 24, working as an Executive Assistant in a MNC. Everybody tells me I look a lot like Mummy. You will know more about me through my writings.

Last but not the least – my brother Yogi Sharma. Yogi is 23, 6.1 ft, thin, good-looking and works in a call center. He is the temperamental one in the family. My relationship with him is a very normal brother-sister relationship – we hate each other’s guts. I think he is illogical, he thinks I have an attitude problem. We rarely ever agree on anything. But he has his redeeming qualities.

This is the introduction. The story starts in "My Second Story - Part 2"
