As per reports from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, around 297 2013 Jaguar XF, XJ and XK cars are being recalled by Jaguar Land Rover North America to fix up a hardware issue that could lead to vehicle stability loss.

In NHTSA’s summary of the issue, it was mentioned that the toe links in the affected cars(toe links are the parts used for controlling the rear wheels’ alignment) could disconnect from the rear sub-frame. In case this happens, it could lead to loss of directional control and vehicle stability, thus increasing the crash risk.

The carmaker told the federal safety regulators that the issues seems to be associated with extended aggressive driving with common braking and lateral force inputs. It also mentioned that no injuries or accidents had been reported due to the problem.
