I am not a movie enthusiast and it takes a lot of will for me to finally sit down and devote a couple of hours for the cause which could be spent doing more worthwhile activities. But it is always a welcome surprise when a movie makes me feel wronged. I happened to watch 'Into the Wild' recently and it was one such specimen. The movie is taken from real-life story and is an emotional roller-coaster. It shows Emile Hirsch playing the role of late Christopher McCandless who after graduating from high-school goes on to shun his religious parents and the worldly pleasures to pursue a life out in the wild. He starts a journey towards Alaska which takes him to several places and introduces him to several people leading life in their own interesting ways. He is undeterred in his journey and even leaves behind a girl he happens to fall for, played by Kristen Stewart. He finally lands in Alaska and spends quite a few days there before dying unfortunately from food-poisoning after he ate a poisonous herb. His story inspires one to go on and do what one really loves and wants in life, although his method didn't prove to be ideal. Parental ties can sometimes prove to be a hindrance in your life's goals but there are better ways to deal with them than to shun them.
