This board can support up to 8 GB of dual channel DDR2 800/667/533 MHz SDRAM. It also offers up to two 1394a ports, Intel High Definition Audio with support for 5.1 surround sound, Intel PRO 10/100/1000 Network connection and ample USB connectors for all your computer paraphernalia.
A good all round performance board. If you are looking for a motherboard which can let you play some good game titles without need to invest in Graphics Card right away, this could be a good choice. But mind it graphics capabilities of onboard graphics card of this MB is very quickly getting outdated.
Sound card I never had a chance to test it to the full extent (5.1 surround) But on the (2.1) system which I m having it is running smooth.Onboard network card is also good serves the purpose very efficiently.
