My father was a soldier and was frequently transferred to various locations,everytwo to three years,it is perhaps because of his frequent transfers ,i got an opportunity to see and interact with various cultures,traditions and languages of our country at an early age.
My father told me that travelling is also a part of education and u learn a lot,today I realise the importance of his words,
In ALMOST ALL THE ARMY ESTABLISHMENTS MY FATHER WAS POSTED TO ,THERE WOULD BE A MOSQUE,A GURUDWARA,A TEMPLE AND A CHURCH WITHIN THE REGIMENT ! I WAS INSTRUCTED TO PAY A VISIT TO ALL THE PLACES OF WORSHIP BY MY FATHER,WHICH I DID WITHOUT COMPLAIN!
FOR AN ARMY MAN HIS RELIGION IS HUMANITY AND HIS CAUSE IS BROTHERHOOD AND MOTHERLAND!
I SALUTE U DEAR SOLDIERS FOR IT IS YOU ALL WHO ALWAYS COME TO THE RESCUE OF EVERYONE WHEN EVERYONE ELSE FAILS!
