She was weeping and few drops of pearls were falling on her glowing cheeks. Her eyes were soggy. She was not able to whisper a single word. I tried to wipe off the pearl drops from her cheeks, held her head for few minutes. She was trying to control her emotions. She tried to get up and walk till the wash basin, maybe she wanted to wash her face. She walked for few steps but couldn’t move forward. I held her hand and my heart shivered with a warm feeling. A gentle grip of her soft hands was enough to ease out my stress. I helped her to reach till basin. Water sprinkles were not enough to wash away her soggy mood.

I thought maybe the place is little uncomfortable for her. I looked at her eyes. There were no emotions, just few water drops. This time I held her tightly and moved towards our Santro. I opened the front door and helped her to occupy the seat. Within few minutes we were moving on Pashan road. It was dusk with clouds flowing slowly in the sky. 4 KMs of that journey passed without a single word spoken. We reached the place where I wanted to take her. Car stopped but she was still sitting motionless, emotionless. I tried to be little vocal this time, asked her if she would like to climb on that hill. It was a small hill besides that highway. We used to sit there for hours. But this was a different occasion. She looked around and asked, “When did we reach here?” I said, “just now, let’s climb at top”. “Not this time”, she murmured. I said, “Ok, you want me to carry you till top. I know you have gained some weight but still I can do it.. ”. She smiled and opened her both hands. Her eyelashes were batting. After a long 2 hours of silent stress I got a smiling relief. I moved forward to carry her but she closed her hands by then. We started moving upwards on the hill. Within few minutes we were on top. We sat on that big stone which was facing towards highway. I could sense little comfort in her mood and it was obviously a great relief for me.

I don’t know whether I can call it LOVE or not but I know the feeling was special.
