GOLI MAAR DUNGA!!!
‘Agar who muze mila toh ‘Goli’ maar dunga. No, this is not a dialogue of any bollywood movie…It’s a dialogue of a frustrated B-school professor. This professor pleads students to attend his lectures. He puts ‘black list’ of students who doesn’t attend his lectures. And guess this black list has almost all names which are there in attendance list. Students who bunk his lectures, are his biggest ‘enemies’, and he uses every trick to make their life worst. He threatens students that he will ‘FAIL’ them if they continue bunking his lecture. (J) He gets upset when he sees that attendance is ‘FULL’ in other professor’s lectures. And then one day out of frustration he declares ‘cold war’ with students. He adopts ‘divide and rule’ strategy. He favors those who attends his lectures and starts ignoring ‘visiting students’ who attend his lecture after regular intervals only for the sake of ‘attendance’.
This is not a new picture right??It happens in every school and colleges. But what a big shame that this happens in B-schools. At PG level students are more matured and they understand what is good and what is bad for them. No student does discrimination in teachers. No teacher should discriminate between students. These are ideal conditions which do not exist in reality. So how to understand this case of frustrated B-School professor. Simple…..
Consider the majority. If majority of students does not want to attend his lecture, he should admit that he has something to introspect. Come out with right policies of teaching and methods to teach students. Student doesn’t hate bore teachers, they still attends their lectures. But students never like autocratic teachers. They prefer ‘Humble’ stupid over ‘EGO Centric’ intelligent. And above all these professors with tie in necks should think twice before speaking any wrong words about the teachers who lives simple life, wears simple cloths, but knows how to teach. Because professors are for teaching and not for preaching. Respect is not a gift, you have to earn it!!!
Moral of the story: No ‘GOLI’ can kill the ‘TRUTH’.
