Most of us believe in God. A super natural power which we can not see, we can not touch, we ca not express about. There is something we can not fight with. The power which controls or destiny, our life, our good and bad deeds ,our thoughts and actions, our decisions and doubts, our life and death.There are many who do not believe in God.They argue that why should one believe in something that can not be seen, felt or touched But they also at some point in life say"Oh God"/ They say so when they face untold miseries.They appeal to God to give them respite from the miseries and sorrows that were making life difficult and troublesome . And as soon as the life becomes easy everybody forgets the existence of God.
Our ancestors have compiled sermons and teachings for leading a happy and disciplined life. These teachings are compiled in different holy books for different religions ad faiths. Holy Quran for Muslims. Holy Guru Granth Saheb for Sikhs, Holy Geeta for Hiidus, Holy Bible for Christians and so on.. Each of these Holy Scriptures tells us about existence of God , Allah, Ishwar, Wahe-Guru and tells us about the good effects of virtues and ba effects of vices.
However each Holy Scripture emphasizes that God is with in all the creation on this Earth . All living beings , animals, plants,birds, sea animals viz the inhabitants of Earth, Water and Sky are all creations of God and God is omnipresent. All teachings point out that God is hidden n everything and in every creation that is flourishing on Earth, under Water and in Sky.If we are to achieve unison with God we must serve sincerely and selflessly all the creatures with and around us.Working welfare of each other we are serving God, we are pleasing God and we are receiving blessings of God.Any good act done for the welfare of fellows brings you the bliss of God.
God Allah aur Ishwar all are in our own hearts. . Once upon a time a Saint, Rabia, used to live in Basra She was all the time praying and remembering Allah.. Once Saint Hasan Basri went to her to have spiritual discourse.. He asked her "You have been worshiping for Allah for many years, Have you seen HIM at any time?" She replied "Had I not seen Him then how could I have continued my worship?. I see God every time and in every person.Those who learn loving selflessly ,shall always see God" She further said" To feel God and to see Him one has to feel in ones own heart.. just walking from here to there on feet does not help.. When God is within your heart then whee is the necessity to wander from places to places. This way God can be seen at every step.". One inquisitor asked her What should we ask for from God ?" Her reply was "Pure and clean Heart full of Kindness. Those who ask God for Materialistic things and comfort invite troubles for themselves.A learned person is one who does not ask for material gains but asks for Spiritual bliss. to achieve higher blessings of God."
Once a saint went to meet Rabia. She presented him with wax, needle and one hair.She explained
"Burn like wax to kindle light for others. Needle, that is naked in itself, sews clothes of others to learn that you should serve others selflessly. Be flexible, humble and without pride in your behaviour to be good to all"
Thus if at MS we are humble to each other, do no insult each other, respect each other,look to our vices and correct them, do not find fault in others but feel sorry for hurting others, be happy to see others rising higher even above us, forgive the wrong doer, guide your younger ones and learn from the experiences of elders, speak less but hear more, to control anger and be cool before giving your reaction to others ,
may not make us Gods but it shall definitely make our site healthier, cleaner, congenial and loving
and bring us close to each other like family which flourishes even in adverse conditions.
Many of us may argue that the above suggestions may not prove fruitful. But at least give a try before condemning. I am sure we will get a better MS.
