We are made to believe that God created the world. And after the creation he made Man and Women in his own appearances. The story goes that he loved his creation and instructed not to eat the forbidden fruit, which was broken and as a result they were thrown out from the garden of Eden’s. The first set of rules was given by God and today we have rules and regulations from birth to death and we manage them as per our requirements. When the rules are broken and something new is achieved the corporate world calls it Innovation and reward them. On the other end if the rule is broken and there is a bad consequence then there is punishment. So breaking or obeying the rule depends upon the consequence and its impact.

Imaging the life without rules is like an open ground and there would not be any fun in anything we do. Last week I visited the school for the Parents Teachers meeting. The display boards in the class were with colourful selected posters on the rules to be followed in school and classroom. The school has eight sections and I took the opportunity to glance at each of these classrooms. At large every child perhaps every parent understood the important of rules and the rules to be followed were common. These rules were being punctual, raising the hand before answering the questions, not to damage the property, keeping the classroom and school clean and tidy etc. As I entred the classroom I was surprised that the rules that needs to be followed for so called millennium kids are different. The rules to be followed in school were

Being Honest| Showing Respect| Being Helpful| Being Obedient| Giving Simile| Sharing & caring|being empathy| Being Human

The time has changed may be the old school and class room rules have just become requirements.
