Yesterday saw the movie, Firaaq, which means separation/quest. It’s a wonderful piece of work by Nandita Das, who is a fine actress by herself, even she was great in her directorial debut. Based on Gujrat riots in 2002, it shows different characters who were either victims,perpetrators or affected indirectly. Wonderful portrayal by all the characters, worth a watch, no gory scenes, but it’s an emotional journey, which makes one sensitive. A must watch.
