These days I was moving around with my limited time all around and know the importance of time than earlier. They say, 'with time everything is possible. Without time nothing is possible'. The problem is that we need more things in the limited time.
A second or years, any object or event can only exist in time. Love, hate, relation everything is time bound. To live or die we need time.
Nobody can create time but everybody can use the time in hand to its best use. All the success in this world belongs to people who use their time best possible way.
Ok, ok, we all know this. Then how come few use time effectively and few less effectively? I think our ability to make quick but correct decisions are important. Making false decisions in a hurry will only backfire. What can help us to decide fast? Our Past and future! Our value system, experience and goals!! Yes!
We know that we should live in present to do the most. At the same time we should remember that present is only a link between our past and future; a transit point. The past will help all those who have used it well to live in their present. No, the past is not gone. It cannot go. When we move we carry our past with us and move to future. For that matter future too cannot stay away from us. We have to understand that this second is past in next, say before you finish reading this and was the future when you start reading this article.
One who realizes that the present moment is the past, present and future knows the secret of time.
We CANNOT create time, but fill it with anything you wish - efficiency, joy, beauty, positive thoughts, hate, love, anger… anything you wish. Time is like a big can which can contain anything. We have to decide what we can fill it with.
A story comes to my mind. One Guru had two disciples. One was bright where the other was not so bright but always complaining that the Guru is promoting the other. One day, the Guru decides to prove why he likes the bright one. He gave Rs. 20 each to both the disciples and asked to fill equal sized rooms with whatever they can get for Rs. 20. The complaining person starts complaining that the amount was not sufficient. He went out and found a garbage lorry and an idea stuck him. He asked if they want a place to throw out the garbage and he will give Rs. 20/-. They happily agreed. The disciple was happy for the reason that he finally managed to fill the room with Rs. 20/-. The other disciple however bought a pack of agarbathis, few flowers and a candle and he lit the candle, agarbathis and place the flower too on the room. The Guru told both, now you stay in the room which you filled with. The second disciple said sorry to the Guru and promised he will try for good then onwards.
I think if we can apply this story moral to make best use of our time we will find ourselves in a better position. We live with what we fill our time with. Let us fillour time with good thoughts, optimism, love and good deeds. Enjoy the moment and live it full.
