DRESS CODE IN TEMPLE

By: sumitesh Verified Member MouthShut Verified Member | Posted Jun 18, 2010 | General | 582 Views

The steps initiated by one of the temple in south India is really praise worthy to have its own dress follow up. Since its really pious place to have a meet with the Almighty God, I really appreciate the work. We should not oppose the steps initiated. We might have seen people (both male and female) try to just show off their clothes even in the religious place. Since the places have been predefined for them to flaunt the dress codes and all. What is the need to have all the unnecessary things. Sometimes people come to temple as if its been a place to roam about. They wore whatever they wanted to. But saree/ suit for the female and kurta Paayjama, dhoti for the male are really a better thing to go for. Its not only bringing the cultural heritage back but also create a more serene and peaceful atmosphere right there. Do come up your valuable suggestions.
