Recently, I changed my status message to"Demotivated coz some Msians added me to their distrust list without specifying a reason". I was shocked and puzzled to see a few members in my "members who distrust me" list.
I immediately checked their profiles and scanned the DPs and review posted by them to see if I had posted a comment that might have influenced them to add me to their distrust list. To my surprise I never wrote a comment that could be offending at all. The bigger surprise was the fact that one of the person who has distrusted me has never posted even a single review or DP!!!
I was wondering if MS could disallow people from adding someone to their distrust list without specifying a valid reason. If we cannot give a "not useful" rating without specifying a reason then why should we be allowed to add someone to our distrust list without specifying a valid reason in support to it.
I felt really sad and sent them both a "cutting chai" asking for a valid reason for adding me to their distrust list. Also, after being inspired byGandhigiri, I wrote to them that I will not reciprocate the gesture by adding them to my distrust list. Till today I have not heard from them.
For them it may be a simple click of button but for me it was quite demotivating. I never imagined I could be distrusted by anyone and that too for no reason!
After a few hours of posting the status message I logged back in to check on updates. I was really thrilled to see some supportive comments, gifts and M2Ms from Javeed ji, Sajit bhai, Hemani ji and Ajeet ji. It was a great feeling. I would like to thank them and all those Msians who gave me the motivation and encouragement to carry on.
Hope MS does take note of disallowing members from distrusting without giving a proper reason. Do post your views on this.
