What is knowledge? According to WIKIPEDIA "It is a familiarity with someone or something, which can include facts, information, descriptions, or skills acquired through experience or education. It can refer to the theoretical or practical understanding of a subject."
Education plays a very significant role in one's life but we do not stop from learning various things in life. How do we get knowledge after we have completed our education? Some prefers to keep reading various books but almost everyone immediately log onto google's website to find the information that he or she is looking for.
We all must agree that Google is a wonderful website that pulls out information on almost on every topic that we search for. Does that means Google has more value then text books?
While we love to Google for required information, we cannot ignore the fact that the value of text books are irreplaceable.
The question here is "Do you think you have learnt more from Google then the text books? How would you differentiate between text books and Google?
I would like to dedicate this debate to Prashant @bebylon for giving permission to conduct the debate after he has posted a poll on similar topic on MS a few days back and to Nishant Singh @sydbarett for suggesting the topic.
Looking forward to your participation in the debate.
