Today morning I was watching the news channels covering the fighter called Arjun and his fight against Yama....
On 1 July he was delivered prematurely to Sangeeta Das, who was only 24 weeks pregnant and there was no scope of saving the baby.
The Doctors were not ready for the labour and howsoever the delivery was conducted on a still born.
While the formalities were being conducted by the father as the lady was in extreme shock,the nurses' noticed a slight movement and this was over 10 hours after having being declared still born.
As they saw a ray of hope in the feeble pulse of the baby with fragile bony strycture,very sick and devoid of moisture under the crumpling skin, they shifted both the Mother and child ot CMRI @ Kolkata , who after 3 months of struggle have today decided to release both of them from the natal care.
The father called his son ARJUN, the fighter and is going to live a fighters life now on...
The mother has expressed her desire to make Arjun grow up and join the Indian Air Force as a pilot and fight for this country and serve hos nation and also conquer the skies.
I feel for the effort of the parents of not losing out on hope and just a day before the Navratras are to begin Maa Durga has handled the family their wish and granted them the Sons life...to live and serve...
