Our India is developing no doubt . But in this external development we forgot our inner development . The righteousness and generosity has been lost from the heart of people . I see no one who have respect to our culture and our ancestors even they don't care about their own forebears who have gave them existence in this world . Many of them are even not oblige to the mother who suffer to give birth him . They make them shred and leave to be alone.
We are running after nothing in exchange of our real happiness .'Help' this word is just a formality . People think that help is just only about money or any physical work. But help is also about feelings and giving respect .
A recently small example I want to give you. I was traveling to my college in a public bus . The Bus was full of crowd, no seat was available . So I have to travel hanging . It passed some time .I was still stuck in crowd. At a stop a old aged man come to bus gate and enter. This man was quite in trouble . His breath was blooming, he couldn't even stand on . He was watching to faces for help and give him seat . But I struck that no one intentionally even looking to him . They are reacting like animals . I feel so bad that time that even not a single guy who can give him seat knowing his respiratory illness and inability to stand. No one has kindness or generosity in their heart . That time I come forward through the crowd and urge to a young man to give the old man seat . But he said I have to go long way so I can not . What is it? This was by a adult man. Amid that old man said me boasting " Beta! rahne do me khada hi rah lunga ." That time I feel so bad I can't tell .
This was an very small incident and some of you will find it a rubbish& meaningless thing . But it is serious thing to think about that where we are? We are educated? or We are Indians, truly Indians by heart .
As per a Sanskrit Shalok:Yeshaam na vidya na tapo na daanam gyaanam na sheelam na guno na dharmhh, Te mrutyaloke bhuvi bhaarbhootaa manushya rupena mrugaascharanti,
i.e.: A human without knowledge, respect for elders, kindness, wisdom, good conduct, virtues and unaware of his duties, is equal to an animal grazing in the form of human.
