And the winner is...

Here come

the results of the first Photo competition in MS after the introduction of

photo pages.

The exciting

competition were widely participated by members and it is their eagerness made

this maiden attempt as a success.

12 Photographs were listed for competition from 8.   At

least 37 members registered their votes.    408 photo

votes are made in total.    145 comments are poured in…

The

competition was really difficult, where each photograph were good for one to

one.

The first

Prize goes to none other than Ateesh with 2 extra brilliant entries which

scored 8.5 each (306 &298 points).

The award will be given to the photo of the Cats based on the number of

points scored.

The

second Prize will go to Bhupesh Shah for the excellent picture of

peacock.  (Score 7.5  with 270 points).

The Award

committee decided to give 2 third prizes where the first third prize will go

to Mr. Subhashish for the excellent spider which narrowly missed the 2nd

spot with score7.4 and 244 points.   The

2nd Third prize will go to Debs (Kweldebs) for the 3+ monkeys

with score 6.7 (248 points, more than Subhashsish).

The Best

photo showing a relation goes to the eager young man of MS, Shrinidhi

for a perfect picture of a monkey and its child.

The Most

peaceful picture award goes to the angel of peace in MS, Payal for

the two ducks.

Special

Jury award goes to Carol for the picture of a bear, the beauty of

beast as told in a comment.

And the

final award, the much valued Critics award goes to Debarti for the class

photo of the 'Dark, Young and handsome' dog.

The photo was on for the top post, but lack of light let the photo down

in the public opinion.  However, it is

surely one of the best photos and surely deserves the critic's award.

success it is!!!   It is those great

photographs put any value to the competition and it is a time for celebration.

The First winner will receive A mobile Phone, A DVD player and a

black cap worth MSP550!  Keep rocking!!!  (This is Ateesh's

second win in a week and this energetic young man of MS has a long way

to go here.)

The Second

prize winner will get a Camera and Popcorn worth MSP250.  Third Prize winners will receive gifts worth MSP200.

All other

winners will receive an MP3 player and chocolates, worth MSP150.

All the members

who dropped a comment in any of the 3 posts for the competition will receive

the gifts for participation as promised.

So

friends…here comes the celebration.

Various entertainments are planned and the first will be a dance by

Shanti as volunteered.  Lol!!!

the winners…analyse what made the winners…what one has to be careful while

taking photographs…or just celebrate and party…it is upto you…

Any mistake
