It was just a great evening. I could never have this chance to look at the great Gulzar from so close a range. Since my school days I have always been mesmerized by his songs-the most soothing yet powerful and poignant lyrics;the magic of life he weaves into his songs-be it hindi film songs or his non-film genre writings.
Yesterday he recited some of his own compositions. It was simply superb.
Gulzar is unputdownable.
