Yesterday V celebrated ONAM....it s a nostalgic memory of a glorious past.it tells of a prehistoric king..who granted a request to have 3 paces of land to a dwarf man.The king asked to measure the 3 steps..suddenly the drawf man transformed to a GIANT &measured the earth and heaven in 2 steps for the 3rd one,no space was available.The generous king mahabali showed his head for the 3rd step and was send to hell...in order to commemorate the revisit of the former king ..once in a year..keralites celebrate ONAM.
